PRINCIPAL

Dr. K.ALPHONSE MARIA ARULRAJ, M.A., M.ED., PGDTE., Ph.D., has been working on the staff of National Matriculation Hr.Sec.School as the Principal since October, 2005. He has had a rich experience of teaching for a period of four decades in different types of schools . His administrative experience in an Anglo-Indian School and an Aided Higher Secondary School in the city of Chennai has enhanced his efficiency in Leadership and Management. He did a research in “Management Behaviour & Leadership Behaviour and Quality in Education in Selected Schools in Tamil Nadu” and a Doctorate Degree in Education was conferred on him by the University of Madras in 2002.

Dr. K. Alphonse Maria Arulraj, prefers discipline to anything else. He firmly believes that discipline is the essence of education. He aims at making the children achieve the total personality development through comprehensive education. He would always appeal to the children to live up to the motto of the school “Strive, Achieve and Serve”.

He has been blessed with a dedicated team of teaching staff and Non-teaching staff., whose selfless service has played a major role in the development and success of National Mat.Hr.Sec.School. The entire team catered to a wide range of children’s requirements from the motherly care in the Kindergarten to the demanding high profile level of education in the higher classes.
