Shri M.P.Purushothaman has over 40 years of rich business experience honed to perfection in the hard school of life. He began his business life in an earnest way at a very young age and soon got associated with the Hotel Industry before starting other ventures. His undaunting courage and vision saw him establish several business ventures in all the Southern States of India.
Mrs. Aruna Purushothaman has been the Management Trustee of Empee Educational and Charitable Trust which governs National Matriculation Higher Secondary School. She has meticulous concern for the growth of the school and contributes for the same in all aspects. She had already served the Institution as the Correspondent of the school during the period between 2003 and 2005. More over her motherly care helps all the children in different levels to enable themselves to excel in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Her constant interaction with the executive members of the Trust, our Beloved Chairman and the Correspondent makes wonders in developing the infrastructure of the school and the quality of education in our campus.
Mrs.Sheena Purushothaman is our Correspondent and Secretary of the Empee Educational Trust which governs National Matriculation Higher Secondary School. She has been providing dedicated leadership to the school since the day she assumed office in the year 2002. She made the National School an affordable Matriculation School in the city of Chennai which caters quality education to over 700 children from Kindergarten through Higher Secondary School while maintaining a very low fee structure. Almost all the children come from Below Poverty line(BPL) families and the Correspondent provides financial assistance through a combination of wide variety of merit and need-based scholarships.
Dr. K.ALPHONSE MARIA ARULRAJ, M.A., M.ED., PGDTE., Ph.D., has been working on the staff of National Matriculation Hr.Sec.School as the Principal since October, 2005. He has had a rich experience of teaching for a period of four decades in different types of schools . His administrative experience in an Anglo-Indian School and an Aided Higher Secondary Schools in the city of Chennai has enhanced his efficiency in Leadership and Management. He did a research in “Management Behaviour & Leadership Behaviour and Quality in Education in Selected Schools in Tamil Nadu” and a Doctorate Degree in Education was conferred on him by the University of Madras in 2002.
