CORRESPONDENT

Mrs.Sheena Purushothaman is our Correspondent and Secretary of the Empee Educational Trust which governs National Matriculation Higher Secondary School. She has been providing dedicated leadership to the school since the day she assumed office in the year 2002. She made the National School an affordable Matriculation School in the city of Chennai which caters quality education to over 1000 children from Kindergarten through Higher Secondary School while maintaining a very low fee structure. Almost all the children come from Below Poverty line(BPL) families and the Correspondent provides them with financial assistance through a combination of wide variety of merit and need-based scholarships.

Additionally, Mrs.Sheena Purushothaman has been an active co-ordinator in bringing and establishing numerous social ventures to our school benefitting all our children. She has made all the modern technological facilities possible to the National School. Consequently the teachers and the children have found their teaching and learning experiences pleasant and happy. She has been very particular on providing the children with the Smart Classes with Digiboards and the English Laboratory.

Our Correspondent aims at creating a respective environment for children and building “Cultural Achievement” by striving hard and serving the local community. Mrs. Sheena Purushothaman is renowned for thinking ahead of the times and for her progressive plans that are unique and valuable. She is well known for her “Effective Management” and spirit of promoting “Excellence in Education”. Her extra-ordinary love for the children community and commendable leadership quality in the field of education are quite exemplary.
