National Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in the year 1991. The school is located in congenial surroundings on Nehru Salai Near Kathipara Junction, St. Thomas Mount. This Co-educational English Medium School is affiliated to the Board of Matriculation School, Tamil Nadu , with classes from Pre KG to Std XII.

The administration is vested with an autonomous Governing Body under the chairmanship of Mr. M.P. Purushothaman and Correspondent Mrs. Sheena Purushothaman. The School has the state of the art science laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science to cater to the needs of the children in science subjects.
